08/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The German government has proposed a bill for the ratification of the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The Bundesrat and Bundestag, the two German parliamentary chambers, are due to discuss the draft in July and vote on it at the end of the summer. In a debate on 7 July in the Bundestag, representatives of the ruling coalition spoke out in favour of ratification. (LM)
