Total allowable catch of cod in Svalbard waters set at 19,600 tonnes in 2022 for EU

The Council of the EU is expected to adopt shortly, by written procedure, a Regulation setting the 2022 total allowable catch (TAC) of cod in Spitsbergen (Svalbard) waters for EU vessels at 19,636 tonnes (t).

The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU confirmed on Wednesday 27 April the use of such a written procedure to adopt the Regulation in question.
