Alternative fuels infrastructure, MEPs approve Michael Bloss’ report for opinion in European Parliament committee

21/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 20 April, MEPs on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) voted in favour of the draft report for opinion by Michael Bloss (Greens/EFA, Germany) on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure (AFIR) (59 votes in favour, nine against and eight abstentions) (see EUROPE 12934/8). On the same day, ITRE Committee members also approved the draft report for opinion by Jutta Paulus (Greens/EFA, Germany) on sustainable and renewable alternative fuels for aviation (‘ReFuelEU Aviation’) (42 votes in favour, 6 against and 28 abstentions) (see EUROPE 12935/11).
