Annalena Baerbock says German oil imports from Russia will stop by end of 2022

20/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Wednesday 20 April, after a meeting with her Baltic counterparts, that her country was preparing to end its imports of Russian oil “by the end of the year”, according to Reuters. Imports will be halved by the summer and completely eliminated by the end of 2022. Then the abolition of gas imports will follow, Mrs Baerbock said.
