European Commission presents new roadmap to support innovative low-carbon technologies

On Friday 8 April, the Commission published a new ‘roadmap’ listing emerging low-carbon technologies for energy-intensive industries that can be supported by the European Research Area (ERA).

The roadmap calls for an assessment of the possibility of creating an industrial alliance or similar platform for low-carbon technologies “building on the Horizon Europe Processes4Planetand Clean Steel partnerships”. The Innovation Fund and InvestEU should also be used to the full.
