EU must “contribute to covering production gap to address global shortage of wheat” and other products, says Valdis Dombrovskis

The European Commission presented on Wednesday 23 March a wide range of short and medium term actions to improve global food security and support farmers and consumers in the EU in the face of rising food prices and input costs such as energy and fertiliser (see EUROPE B12915A3).
