Commissioner for Human Rights denounces Poland’s pushback practices at Belarusian border

On Friday 4 February, the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights published her “Written Observations” to the European Court of Human Rights in a case concerning the situation of asylum seekers and migrants stranded at the Polish-Belarusian border (“case of R.A. and others v. Poland”).

Based on a mission carried out in Poland from 15 to 18 November, Dunja Mijatović was very critical of Poland.
