European Commission adopts new rules ending most ivory trade in EU

16/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 December, the European Commission adopted a revised regulation and guidelines on the EU regime governing the ivory trade which suspend trade in raw ivory on the EU market, except for the exclusive purpose of repairing objects containing ancient ivory.
