Iratxe García Pérez regrets EPP’s lack of commitment to rule of law in Slovenia

The chairwoman of the S&D group in the European Parliament, Iratxe García Pérez from Spain, “regretted” on Tuesday 14 December the “lack of commitment of the EPP” regarding the deterioration of the rule of law in Slovenia.

The European Parliament will vote on Thursday on a resolution on the subject, co-signed by the S&D, Renew Europe, Greens/EFA and The Left, but not by the EPP, which has four Slovenian MEPs from the country’s ruling parties.
