Sweden and Spain join commitment to stop financing fossil fuel projects abroad by end of 2022

10/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – After the Netherlands and Germany (see EUROPE B12829A6), Spain and Sweden also signed a commitment on Wednesday 10 November to stop financing fossil fuel projects abroad by the end of 2022. Launched in Glasgow at the 26th session of the UN climate conference (COP26), this non-binding commitment now brings together 25 countries (the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Albania, New Zealand, Costa Rica,...
