In 2020, 8% of EU population was unable to afford adequate heating, according to Eurostat

05/11/2021 (Agence Europe)According to the latest figures from Eurostat - the statistical office of the European Union - published on Friday 5 November, 8% of the EU’s inhabitants said they were not be able to heat their homes adequately in 2020. The situation is particularly problematic in Bulgaria, where the percentage rises to 27%, followed by Lithuania (23%), Cyprus (21%), Portugal and Greece (both 17%).
