More than 110 million Africans at risk to be exposed to extreme consequences of global warming by 2030, warns UN

19/10/2021 (Agence Europe)Without adequate measures, up to 118 million extremely poor people (those living on less than $1.90 a day) will be exposed to drought, floods and extreme heat in Africa, according to a new UN report published on 19 October, 2 weeks before the opening of COP26 in Glasgow.
