MEPs still not convinced of effectiveness of Commission’s annual Rule of law reports

MEPS of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties gave a lukewarm welcome, on Wednesday, 1 September, to the second annual report on the Rule of law presented by the Commission on 20 July (see EUROPE B12766A2). They made this known during an exchange of views with the Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders.
