European Commission and EU27 will contribute €1.7 billion to Global Partnership for Education

The European Commission and the Member States (‘Team Europe’) recommitted on Thursday 29 July to contribute to the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) with €1.7 billion for the period 2021-2027.

The European Commission, as already indicated in June, will contribute €700 million - €100 million per year for seven years - which represents a 30% increase on its last contribution.
