09/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commissioner for Industry, Thierry Breton, and Jeffrey Zients, coordinator of the team in charge of the fight against Covid-19 in the United States, agreed, on 8 March, during a telephone interview, to cooperate in order to secure the supply chains for the production of vaccines on both sides of the Atlantic. They plan to set up direct contact between the European and US teams to facilitate and anticipate potential supply problems. (LM)
