EU Council adopts two of four capital market stimulus measures

15/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council adopted, on Monday 15 February, the adjustments to be made to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) to support post-Covid-19 economic recovery (see EUROPE B12535A11) and the creation of a shortened “EU Recovery Prospectus” to enable companies to quickly raise the capital needed to rebuild their business in the aftermath of the pandemic (see EUROPE B12608A9).
