European Commission approves new protected geographical indications

10/02/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 10 February, the European Commission approved the application for inclusion of ‘Loukaniko Pitsilias’ and ‘Lountza Pitsilias’ from Cyprus on the register of protected geographical indications (PGI) and ‘Ponikve’ from Croatia on the register of protected designations of origin (PDO).
