The Court of Justice of the European Union rejected on Thursday 17 December (Case C-342/19) the appeal by former MEP Fabio De Masi and former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis against the refusal of the General Court (T-798/17) to call for more transparency in the ECB’s action during the Greek sovereign debt crisis in 2015 (see EUROPE B11929A16).
