Eight Member States commit to strengthen cooperation on wind turbines in Baltic Sea

The Energy Ministers of eight EU Member States (Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland and Sweden) signed on Wednesday 30 September a joint declaration to strengthen cooperation on offshore wind turbines in the Baltic Sea.

The declaration underlines that a cooperative regional approach could help accelerate progress in terms of offshore energy and thus contribute to the European objective of climate neutrality by 2050.
