Ministers will discuss Covid-19, CAP and animal welfare from 30 August to 1 September

The European Ministers of Agriculture are meeting informally from 30 August to 1 September in Koblenz, in the north of Rhineland-Palatinate, to discuss the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and other issues related to the welfare of farm animals.

In preparation for the working meeting on Tuesday, 1 September, the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union presented a working paper on the topics to be discussed by the ministers.
