A coalition of NGOs led by CAN Europe and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) presented on Tuesday 30 June an energy scenario based on 100% renewable energy by 2040 to achieve climate neutrality at the EU level 10 years ahead of the current target (2050) and aiming at a reduction of CO2 emissions of at least 65% by 2030.
