Two NGOs sue Germany in German courts for air pollution

27/05/2020 (Agence Europe) – ClientEarth and Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) are suing Germany in German courts for its failure to control emissions of air pollutants across the country, the NGOs announced on Wednesday 27 May. The aim is to compel authorities to take immediate action to comply with the requirements of Directive 2016/2284/EU on national emission ceilings.
