ESA awards contracts to study future EGNOS upgrades in aeronautics

19/05/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday, 18 May, Thales Alenia Space announced that the European Space Agency (ESA) awarded the space company two contracts regarding EGNOS. The press release indicates that these contracts are fully financed under the Horizon 2020 European framework programme and concern study phases on the evolution of the EGNOS European satellite navigation system.
