COVID-19, consultation on revision of EU Solidarity Fund

23/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched, on Friday 20 March, a broad public consultation on its proposal of 13 March to amend the European Union Solidarity Fund Regulation to deal with consequences of COVID-19 (see EUROPE B12446A2). In particular, the Commission proposes to widen the scope to include health disasters, to increase the level of advances for individual disasters of all categories to 25% of the expected EUSF contribution, with a maximum of €100 million,...
