According to its second forecast for the 2020 harvest published on Monday 16 March, the Committee on Cereals Trade (Coceral) estimates that the total cereals harvest in the Twenty-Seven (+ the UK) will amount to 302.5 million tonnes (t), down slightly from the 302.7 million t estimated in the first forecast. Compared to 2019 volumes, this represents a decrease of 1.7%, or 5.2 million t (last year’s total of 307.9 million t).
