NGO Environmental Defense Fund calls on Member States to unite to make CORSIA system operational

26/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – The NGO Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) urged Member State leaders on Wednesday 26 February to stand united in defending a strong and workable carbon offsetting and reduction regime for international aviation. Better known as CORSIA, this compensation system will be discussed starting next week at a meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada.
