Paris, Berlin, Rome and Warsaw on 4 February called for a reform of European competition law to better deal with Chinese companies and U.S digital giants.
In a letter to Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President responsible for Competition Policy, the Ministers of Economy of France, Germany, Italy and Poland urged her to adopt "a work plan in the coming weeks with proposals and practical rules to meet the challenges".
