At the presentation of the six-month priorities of the Croatian Presidency of the EU Council on Wednesday 22 January in Brussels, MEPs on the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee discussed how to integrate the 'European Green Deal' into the post-2020 changes to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
Many MEPs also stressed that the CAP budget for the period 2021-2027 needs to be sufficient, given the climate and environmental challenges.
