Anti-dumping investigation on imports of Chinese pins and staples

Another anti-dumping proceeding in the steel sector, this time concerning imports of Chinese pins and staples into the EU, was initiated by the European Commission on Wednesday, 18 December.

The complainants, six European producers who represent more than 50% of total EU production of these products, relied on the China-specific report (see EUROPE B11918A17), which reports significant intervention by the Beijing government, particularly in the steel sector.
