Like all his colleagues, Vytenis Andriukaitis is about to leave his position as European Commissioner for Health on 30 November. With unfailing enthusiasm, this former surgeon has returned with EUROPE to his five-year term of office, which he himself acknowledges has been a period of victories and defeats. (Interview by Sophie Petitjean)
