19/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – Discussions to appoint the next Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) were continuing within the EPP Group, according to our information, on Tuesday 19 November. According to the d'Hondt rule, after Adina-Ioana Vălean's departure for the post of Transport Commissioner, the Presidency should be held by a member of the Romanian EPP delegation.
