Possible resumption of European Parliament/EU Council negotiations on European Chief Prosecutor as early as next week

Now that the European Parliament has put together its team of MEPs to negotiate with the EU Council on the selection of the future European Chief Prosecutor (see EUROPE B12326A29), the negotiators no longer want to waste time. According to our information, a meeting between European Parliament and EU Council negotiators could take place on Tuesday 17 September.
