Eurojust brings down a Slovak criminal group involved in human trafficking in United Kingdom

06/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 September, Eurojust announced the dismantling of a Slovak organised criminal gang involved in cross-border human trafficking for the purposes of forced labour and money laundering. In 2015, the United Kingdom opened an investigation within Eurojust into this group, composed of five Slovak nationals. The victims were recruited in Slovakia and brought to the United Kingdom to work in Chinese restaurants and car washes under harsh working conditions....
