Facebook commits to cooperating with French judiciary on online hate speech

26/06/2019 (Agence Europe) – American social networking giant Facebook has pledged to cooperate with the French judiciary on hate speech on its platform, French Secretary of State for Digital Affairs Cédric O. indicated on Tuesday 25 June. “Facebook will now transmit IP addresses to the French courts to identify the perpetrators of hate speech on the Internet”, he said on Twitter.
