European Commission calls on Member States to continue structural reforms and efforts on budgetary front

In a general context of economic slowdown (see EUROPE B12249A6), the European Commission encourages Member States, in its country-specific recommendations presented on Wednesday 5 June as part of the ‘European Semester’ budget process, to pursue the implementation of structural reforms and budgetary efforts, while focusing on targeted investments conducive to growth.
