G20 Agriculture Ministers commit to developing advanced technologies

G20 Agriculture Ministers, meeting in Niigata, Japan, May 10-12, highlighted the need to develop advanced technologies to ensure the sustainability of the agro-food sector. 

We highlight the importance of encouraging innovation in agriculture, inter alia, through the utilisation and access of advanced technologies, such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, the statement said.
