Albania continues to meet criteria for visa liberalisation, according to Commission

17/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Commission continues to consider that Albania meets the criteria for visa liberalisation and has not yet received any notification from any Member State to initiate the procedure for suspending the liberalisation mechanism. The spokeswoman of the European Commissioner for Migration, Natasha Bertaud, responded on 17 April to the request made in a resolution of the Dutch Parliament to activate the suspension mechanism of the regime.
