The European Parliament's Committee on Culture and Education welcomes the European Union's new agenda for culture, while calling for a larger financial allocation for this purpose (see EUROPE 12024). In a report accepted on Monday 19 November, MEPs even went so far as to call for twice as much for the Creative Europe programme (see EUROPE 12078).
