Inflation rate increases to 2.2% in Eurozone in October

16/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – In October, annual inflation was 2.2% for the Eurozone and 2.1% for the European Union, compared to 2.1% in September for both groups, according to data published by the EU's statistical office (Eurostat). The lowest rates were observed in Denmark (0.7%), Portugal (0.8%) and Ireland (1.1%). The highest rates were recorded in Estonia (4.5%), Romania (4.2%) and Hungary (3.9%).
