Council agreement on financing modalities for second tranche of Refugee Facility

29/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 29 June, the Committee of Permanent Representative to the EU (Coreper) reached an agreement by unanimity on the financing modalities for the second tranche of the Refugee Facility in Turkey. Out of an envelope of €3 billion, €2 billion will come from the EU budget and €1 billion from the member states as from 2019 (see EUROPE 12037). (MB)
