Stakeholders want to attract more women to maritime transport sector

27/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 June, the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) and the European Community Shipowners’ Associations held discussions about possible solutions to increase the participation of women in European maritime transport. Women currently account for just 2% of the workforce in this sector. In addition to other organisations, the European Commission joined the debates, which particularly focused on training and career developments for women....
