Signature and implementation of EU-Singapore investment agreement may have to wait until after 2019

On Tuesday 22 May, a European source told EUROPE that the EU-Singapore investment agreement may not be signed or implemented before the end of the mandate of the current European Commission in autumn 2019, given that the member states "are reluctant to go ahead" in this process.
