On Friday 20 April, the European Commission decided to prolong by five years the 60.4% anti-dumping duties set up in 1999 on imports of Chinese steel cables into the EU, after a third re-assessment that proved the dumping would continue if these measures expired.
Following a previous anti-circumvention investigation, products consigned from Morocco and the Republic of Korea are now also subject to these duties.
