European Parliament approves dates for European elections and 2019 plenary sessions

18/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 April, the European Parliament endorsed the Council proposal to organise the next European elections between Thursday 23 and Sunday 26 May 2019, instead of between Thursday 6 and Sunday 9 June in accordance with what was provided for by the European Union electoral law.  The European Parliament has thus decided on the following dates for its 2019 plenary sessions:  - January 14 to 17, and 30 and 31; - February 11 to 14; - March 11 to 14,...
