Council of Europe's Venice Commission to decide in June on the 'Stop Soros' legislation

13/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – The Council of Europe’s Venice Commission announced on Thursday 12 April that the draft Hungarian legislation known as ‘Stop Soros’ has been referred to it by the Council of Europe’s parliamentary assembly (PACE)’s commission of legal issues and human rights.  The opinion of this committee of institutional law experts will be transmitted in June during the PACE plenary.  It will be drawn up in cooperation with BIDDH, an institution for promoting...
