Inter-institutional agreement on management of South Pacific fisheries

The Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Parliament reached agreement on Monday 26 February on the European Commission proposal aiming to transpose into EU law the management, conservation and control measures recently adopted by the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO), of which the European Union is a contracting party (see EUROPE 11757).
