Tatjana Ždanoka leaves European Parliament for Latvian electoral campaign

17/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 16 January, the Greens/EFA Group announced that Latvian MEP Tatjana Ždanoka intended to stand down from the European Parliament from March 2018.  "Ms Ždanoka will then focus on her party's campaign for the Latvian national elections to the Saeima due to be held in October this year", the press release states.  Ždanoka was first elected to the European Parliament in 2004.  She is known for her work on human rights and social affairs,...
