Protecting the environment is important personally for 94% of Europeans and very important for 56%, and 90% say they are worried about the impact of chemicals present in everyday products, reveals the latest Eurobarometer survey (No 468) on the attitude of European citizens towards the environment, published by the European Commission on Tuesday 19 December.
