01/12/2017 (Agence Europe) – The forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU will hold a ministerial conference in Sofia on Friday 9 March 2018, on the multi-annual financial framework (MFF) in order to continue the reflection on the future of the budget of the European Union post-2020, with the European Commission to present its proposals in May 2018. The parameters that will steer the reflection include the reduction of available credits (see EUROPE 11901) due, amongst other things, to Brexit, and the use of financial instruments to raise more capital on the market.
