European Parliament formulates recommendations to enhance integration of persons with disabilities

In an own-initiative report on the implementation of the European Strategy for Persons with a Disability adopted (529 for, 28 against, 45 abstentions) on Thursday 30 November, ahead of the European and international Days for Persons with Disabilities, the European Parliament has called for positive discrimination to be introduced on the labour market for people with disabilities, as well as the European emergency 112 number to be made available for everyone.
